A socio-emotional skills group for kids 

About the group

Join our Socio-Emotional Skills Group for Kids, where children learn to understand their feelings, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills through play, creativity, and connection.

 

This group uses engaging, child-friendly activities inspired by tools like A Little SPOT of Feelings to help kids:

  • Identify and name emotions

  • Understand what feelings are trying to tell them

  • Learn coping skills for anxiety, frustration, and overwhelm

  • Build social skills such as communication, patience, and problem-solving

 

Led by trained therapists

Play-based and expressive arts focused

Safe, supportive, and affirming space

Perfect for children who:

 

  • Have big emotions or frequent meltdowns

  • Struggle with anxiety or frustration

  • Have difficulty expressing feelings

  • Want to build confidence and social skills

When: June 17th-August 5 (8 weeks)

Wednesdays at 2pm

Ages: 6-9

 

Spots are limited to keep groups small and supportive.

At Premier Psychotherapy LLC, groups are led by trained therapists who specialize in working with children using play therapy and expressive approaches. Our goal is to create a space where children feel safe, understood, and supported while learning skills that last beyond the group setting.
