Feelings Detective Club:
a socio-emotional skills group for kids
What This Group Helps With
Our socio-emotional skills group supports children in learning how to understand, express, and manage their emotions in a healthy way. Many children experience anxiety, frustration, or difficulty communicating their feelings. This group provides a supportive environment where those skills can grow.

Skills Your Child Will Learn

Children in this group will:
-
Identify and name emotions
-
Understand what feelings are communicating
-
Learn coping strategies for anxiety and frustration
-
Practice emotional regulation skills
-
Build confidence and social skills

How the Group Works

This is a therapist-led, 8-week group that uses play-based and expressive arts approaches to help children learn in a way that feels natural and engaging. Activities are developmentally appropriate and designed to support real-life skill use at home and school.
This group incorporates structured emotional learning tools, including elements inspired by A Little SPOT of Feelings, while maintaining a clinical, individualized approach.
