Continuing Education Program Fee, Refund, and Cancellation Policy

Purpose

Premier Psychotherapy, LLC is committed to providing high-quality continuing education programs while maintaining transparent and equitable policies regarding registration, payment, cancellations, refunds, transfers, and program changes.

Registration and Program Fees

Registration fees are published with each continuing education program and must be paid in full before participation unless otherwise specified. Fees may vary based on the educational format, length of the program, materials provided, or promotional pricing.

Registration is not considered complete until payment has been received and confirmation has been issued.

Participant Cancellation and Refund Policy

Participants who cancel their registration:

  • Fourteen (14) or more calendar days before the scheduled program will receive a full refund of registration fees, less any nonrefundable processing fees.

  • Seven (7) to thirteen (13) calendar days before the scheduled program will receive a 50% refund.

  • Less than seven (7) calendar days before the program, or participants who do not attend without prior notice, are generally not eligible for a refund.

Participants experiencing documented emergencies or extenuating circumstances may submit a written request for consideration. Requests will be reviewed individually, and any exception is granted at the sole discretion of Premier Psychotherapy.

Transfer of Registration

If a participant is unable to attend, registration may be transferred to another qualified individual from the same organization with written notice received prior to the start of the program.

When available, participants may request to transfer their registration to a future offering of the same program. Transfer requests are subject to availability and must be made before the scheduled program date.

Provider Cancellation or Rescheduling

Premier Psychotherapy reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel a continuing education program due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Presenter illness or emergency

  • Inclement weather or unsafe travel conditions

  • Technical difficulties

  • Low enrollment

  • Facility issues

  • Other unforeseen circumstances beyond the provider's control

If Premier Psychotherapy cancels a program, participants may choose to:

  • Receive a full refund of registration fees, or

  • Transfer their registration to a future offering of the same or a comparable program.

Premier Psychotherapy is not responsible for reimbursement of travel expenses, lodging, meals, lost wages, or other incidental costs associated with a canceled or rescheduled program.

Virtual Program Technology

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate internet access, compatible technology, and the ability to access the virtual learning platform before the program begins.

If technical difficulties arise on the provider's end that substantially interfere with the educational program, Premier Psychotherapy will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue, reschedule the program, or provide an alternative educational opportunity when appropriate.

Continuing Education Credit

Registration and payment do not guarantee the award of continuing education credit.

Participants must satisfy all program requirements established for each course, which may include:

  • Attendance for the required instructional time;

  • Participation in required learning activities;

  • Completion of any required evaluations; and

  • Successful completion of any required post-tests or learning assessments for applicable programs.

Certificates of completion will be issued only after all program requirements have been met.

Partial Attendance

Continuing education credit will be awarded in accordance with the attendance requirements established for each individual program. If partial credit is available, it will be communicated in the course materials. Otherwise, participants must complete the required instructional time to receive continuing education credit.

Accessibility and Accommodations

Premier Psychotherapy is committed to providing accessible continuing education programs. Participants requesting reasonable accommodations are encouraged to contact the provider as early as possible, preferably at least two weeks before the scheduled program, so appropriate arrangements can be considered.

Program Modifications

Premier Psychotherapy reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to program schedules, presenters, educational activities, or course materials when necessary while maintaining the integrity of the stated learning objectives.

Questions and Requests

Questions regarding registration, cancellations, refunds, or transfers should be directed to Premier Psychotherapy prior to the scheduled program whenever possible.

Policy Review

This policy is reviewed periodically and updated as needed to maintain compliance with applicable laws, ethical standards, and continuing education provider requirements.
