Continuing Education Participant Complaint and Dispute Resolution Policy
Purpose
Premier Psychotherapy, LLC is committed to delivering high-quality continuing education programs that are evidence-based, ethical, and responsive to participant needs. Participant feedback is valued as an opportunity to improve educational offerings. This policy outlines the process for submitting, reviewing, and resolving complaints related to continuing education programs.
Scope
This policy applies to complaints regarding continuing education programs offered by Premier Psychotherapy, including but not limited to concerns related to:

Program administration or organization

Registration or payment processes
-
Course content or learning objectives
-
Instructor or presenter conduct
-
Accessibility or reasonable accommodations
-
Continuing education credit or certificates of completion

Attendance verification
-
Educational materials
-
Participant conduct that disrupts the learning environment

This policy does not apply to employment matters, personnel decisions, or grievances unrelated to continuing education programming.
Submission of Complaints
Participants are encouraged to first address concerns informally with Premier Psychotherapy whenever appropriate, as many issues can be resolved promptly.
If the concern cannot be resolved informally, participants may submit a written complaint within 30 calendar days of the program. Complaints should include:

Participant name and contact information

Name and date of the continuing education program

Description of the concern or dispute

Relevant supporting documentation, if applicable

Desired resolution, if known
Complaints may be submitted by email or mail using the contact information published by Premier Psychotherapy.
Review Process
Upon receipt of a written complaint:

Premier Psychotherapy will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within five (5) business days.

The complaint will be reviewed by the Continuing Education Administrator or another individual designated by Premier Psychotherapy who was not directly involved in the matter whenever feasible.

Additional information may be requested from the participant or other relevant individuals as needed.

The complaint will be evaluated in accordance with applicable policies, ethical standards, and continuing education requirements.
Resolution
Premier Psychotherapy will make reasonable efforts to provide a written response outlining the findings and any proposed resolution within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving all necessary information.
Possible resolutions may include, when appropriate:

Clarification of policies or procedures

Correction of administrative errors

Issuance of a corrected certificate of completion

Registration transfer or refund when warranted

Educational or administrative improvements

Other appropriate corrective actions
The resolution will depend on the nature and circumstances of the complaint.
Confidentiality
Complaints will be handled as confidentially as reasonably possible. Information will be shared only with individuals involved in reviewing and resolving the concern or as otherwise required by law.
Non-Retaliation
Participants who submit complaints in good faith will not experience retaliation or discrimination for raising concerns regarding a continuing education program.
Record Retention
Premier Psychotherapy will maintain records of written complaints, supporting documentation, correspondence, and resolutions in accordance with its Continuing Education Record Retention Policy.
Continuous Quality Improvement
Participant complaints and feedback will be reviewed periodically to identify trends and opportunities to improve the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of continuing education programs.
Policy Review
This policy is reviewed periodically and revised as necessary to maintain compliance with applicable continuing education standards and organizational policies.
